In a night drenched in gratitude, music, and unfiltered worship, Dr. Mrs. Ajoke—popularly known as Dr. Ajokesing—stood before a sea of worshippers with one message resonating from her heart: thanksgiving. As the convener of SPAW: Symphony of Praise and Worship, she reflected on the evening with a humility that echoes the very essence of her ministry.
“I want to thank God Almighty for making this day possible,” she began, her voice warm with sincerity. “I want to thank all the guests who came in today and stood by me throughout the program. I am just so grateful.”
For Dr. Ajokesing, the night was more than an event; it was a divine appointment—a sacred space where heaven felt palpably near. “God is the owner and giver of life,” she said. “To be able to host this symphony of praise and worship with the people of God is a privilege I don’t take lightly.”
Honoring Pillars of Support
The evening also carried a tone of appreciation for distinguished guests and supporters whose presence added color and significance to the event.
She extended heartfelt gratitude to His Excellency, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and his wife Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, whom she described as unwavering pillars. She recalled their encouragement even during her UK concert, noting their consistency in standing with her since the Osubare years.
Her appreciation extended to the Adebutu family, as well as the AIG of Zone 2, Lagos/Ogun Adegoke Fayoade, acknowledging their commitment and presence.
“To all the VIPs who came today,” she emphasized, “I say a big, special thank you. God bless you.”
A Message to Nigerians: ‘This Is a Time of Joy’
Despite the uncertainties and challenges within the nation, Dr. Ajokesing delivered a message rooted in unwavering faith and encouragement.
“Whatever the situation in the country, we still need to give thanks,” she urged. “The Bible says we should give thanks at all times—whether in bad times or good times.”
With conviction, she declared that Nigeria is great and on the rise, affirming the power of collective prayer and the spiritual significance of the night.
“I believe heaven has been brought down today, and we’re going to start seeing testimonies—great miracles. Mark it down: from today, December 7th, people will come back with testimonies. Nigeria is blessed, from the north to the south, east to the west. We will reap the fruit of our labor.”
What’s Next for Dr. Ajokesing?
As anticipation grows around her musical ministry, Dr. Ajokesing hinted that more is coming—though she keeps the details sealed.
“After these four concerts… let’s leave the rest in the hands of God. More is still coming by His grace,” she said with a knowing smile.
With SPAW now etched deeper into the hearts of worshippers across Lagos, one thing is clear: Dr. Ajokesing’s voice—both in song and in spirit—continues to call the nation to gratitude, faith, and hope.
