BREAKING: Sowore shot during protest at Unity Fountain, Abuja~Starimagenews.com

Sowore the Convener of RevolutionNow, Sowere Omoyele and a former presidential aspirant said he has been shot by a female police officer at the Unity Fountain, Abuja.

Tweeting via his official handle, @YeleSowore, he wrote:

Just been shit by a police officer, ACP Atine at the Unity Fountain in Abuja. #RevolutionNow Let the struggle continue even if they take my life! #BuhariMustGo.”

Sowore was reportedly shot as the police blocked protesters from entering Unity Fountain.

He is said to be receiving treatment at a hospital in Abuja.

It is unclear whether it was a tear gas canister or a bullet that is responsible for the ‘shot’ wound.
