CP YARO COMMISSIONS NEW SHINKAFI POLICE AREA COMMAND IN ZAMFARA

Following the Construction of new Shinkafi Police Area Command Office by the Force Headquarters Abuja. The Commissioner of Police Zamfara State Police Command CP Abutu Yaro fdc, has on behalf of the Inspector General of Police IGP Mohammed A Adamu NPM mni, commissioned the new Police Area Command office in Shinkafi.
While commissioning the project, the CP said that the project was part of the determination and commitment of the Inspector General of Police and the Federal Government to provide a conducive working environment for officers and men of the Command so that they can discharge their mandate of safeguarding public safety, public peace and security.
The CP called on officers and men of the Area Command to make judicious use of the office and infrastructures provided therein. He further enjoined the communities of the Area and beyond to appreciate the gesture by supporting the Police and other security agencies in their commitment to overcome the security challenges bedevelling the State.
In his vote of thanks, the Sole Administrator of Shinkafi LGA, Alhaji Abubakar Galadima thanked the Nigeria Police for the new Area Command office, and assured the CP that the people of the area will continue to assist the security agencies in finding lasting peace in the state.
The Commissioning of the Area Command was attended by some prominent people of Shinkafi that include, the Sole Administrator of Shinkafi LGA, Hon. Commissioner Ministry of Science and Technology, Permanent Secretary Ministry for Security and Home Affairs, Commander Zamfara State Road Traffic Agency (ZAROTA), Community and Religious leaders, among others.
The CP later addressed officers and men of Shinkafi Area Command and Division including special Constabulary. He also met with stakeholders at the Palace of Emir of Shinkafi.
Similarly, the CP visited Zurmi LGA, where he paid a courtesy visit on His Royal Highness, the Emir of Zurmi Alhaji Atiku Abubakar MFR. He thanked the Emir and his Emirate for working assiduously with the police and other security agencies to ensure peace and security of the area. He urged them to do more in this regard. The CP once again addressed officers and men of Zurmi Division including special Constabulary. He warned them against unprofessional conduct.
