The Commissioner of Police in Delta State, CP Mohammed Ari Ali fcia, psi+ has rejigged the motorized patrol of police in the state around expressway with heavy bushes. He said the move was to ensure 24-hours police visibility along corridors in the state that are black spots for criminals. He noted that the rapid patrol of operatives has yielded positive
results while also deploying decoy operatives around the black spot communities in the state.

Citing security lapses in their jurisdiction, CP Ali removed three divisional police officers (DPOs) in the state. The persons affected are DPO Warri, DPO Sapele and DPO ‘C Division’, Asaba. This singular move has restored confidence among residents of Sapele, Aniocha, Oshimili, Ika, Ethiope, Isoko LGAs in the state. The Police Boss noted that the move will serve as a warning signal to others that are not ready to tackle crimes in the areas.
