The honorable member of the Federal House of Representatives, Ikeja Constituency, Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke and his wife, Bukola Faleke have voted in their Ojodu polling unit 021. This has happened around 11.15am today, Trek Africa Newspaper can report.

Speaking to pressmen briefly after exercising his civic duty, Hon. Faleke noted: ‘We give glory to God that today has come to meet us alive. We thank Nigerians for coming out in a peaceful manner and for conducting themselves to vote for the candidate of their choice.’

On the INEC performance, he said: ‘My polling unit is peaceful. We have issues of logistics from INEC. The INEC officials didn’t arrive on time due to vehicular issues. We don’t normally have this kind of issues in Lagos but you will recall that there is a judgement against the Lagos Parks and Garages that they will not use their vehicles. INEC is trying to mobilize other vehicles, they go and pick people and drop them, then they go and pick again. So far so good, BVAS in my polling unit is functioning very well and it is very fast.’

On the chances of APC in the polls, he simply said: ‘We are expecting victory.’
