Oyekan Reinvigorated LETI In Short Time -Trek Africa Boss, Oki

As the eventful year 2020 wind to a close, the positive contributions of Prince Ifalade Oyekan, Head, the Lagos State Law Enforcement Training Institute- LETI was recognised by one of the major media outfits in Nigeria, Trek Africa Newspapers.
At a brief ceremony where the Award plaque was presented, Samson Oki, the publisher of Trek Africa Newspaper described Prince Oyekan as a trail blazer. Noting that in the space of about a year Prince Ifalade has been able to bring attention to LETI with a series of time telling innovations
Oki said, “you have reinvigorated LETI to the point of notice within the short time you came on board and this gives us the confidence to acknowledge your contributions. We thank the Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu for putting such a round peg in a fitting hole and we are hopeful that this will spur you to do more as we look forward to see you saddled with higher responsibilities soon ”
In his response, Prince Ifalade Oyekan thanked the management of the media organization for the recognition, saying, “the governor was concise in his message after my appointment, go and rebrand LETI and rebranding from that instruction was very pregnant and the things you see us doing today are some of our compliance with that instruction.”
Oyekan seized the opportunity to thank the Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu for reposing confidence in him and also expressed gratitude to the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice and the entire staff of the Ministry for their support.
While giving kudos to the members of staff of LETI for their support, he pointed out that the current leadership of the Institute is on a mission to lay solid foundation for a World class Law enforcement Academy.
